Guess what? We turned 1 year old yesterday! Guess how we celebrated? Ate cake!
It's hard to believe but we made it through our first year. Scott and I haven't killed each other, the staff hasn't mutinied, and I still love making chocolate.
We started our second year by getting a face lift. They are doing some cosmetic work on our dear old windows (yes the sweet shop signage will stay!) and it turns out that termites have been gnawing at the building as well. "Just a week" they tell me is all it will take to make the repairs. We'll see.
Great news. I have just hired Jackie Howard as the new Sous Pastry Chef 
She has been creating great things for the last several months - including those macarons that you can't get enough of (you know who you are) - and so I thought it was high time to add more stress and responsibility to her life and she seemed to agree. Remember, we all get what we deserve!

Our website finally made it up. If you haven't stopped by here yet take a quick look. Thanks to Josh Campbell at Redline Media for all the effort and patience. It took over a year and it was entirely my fault. Next comes the online store!
Finally - I have a big ice cream secret to share, but unfortunately it will have to wait until next time. Let's just leave it at this...it involves September 6th and "something for nothing"!

Wow, it's been a year already. Time really goes quickly doesn't it? I can tell that you have had fun along the way and that is what is important.

I just visited the other site and totally love it. I like the fact that you can see the products, know what you want to order and see the range that you provide.
